Notes from the New World is a contemporary retelling of Dostoyevskys Notes from the Underground. The story unfolds in Los Angeles, where dreams and harsh realities collide; a place where almost everyone spies on everyone else, and everyone seems to be playing a dangerous game. The film was written, directed and produced by Vitaly Sumin, who posits that it is both an adaptation and a continuation of Dostoyevsky’s work, as well as a re-telling of one of Dostoyevsky’s classics. The film stars Natasha Blasick, Rebecca Sigl-Light, Nathanael Theisen and many other talented actors. It was written, directed and produced by Vitaly Sumin, the President of VM Productions. Natasha Blasick was recently starred in the production of a major motion picture ALL STAR WEEKEND, produced by Jamie Foxx who also stars in the film. Blasick was also recently booked for the project produced by Lou Fusaro, producer of the hit TV showsRay Donovan, House Of Lies and Californication.
