As 2015 comes to a close, I reflect on the year past and update you on VM Productions activities both present and moving forward into 2016.
In development, a package of four feature-length projects. The films are scheduled to be produced and directed by myself and will include both A and B cast, please visit New projects for more details. The four films are:
and from the Dostoyevsky-LA Project:
We are currently editing: nine interviews with Cast and Crew, including a recently recorded interview with Natasha Blasick, long and short versions of each. Following on we are in the middle of editing the fine cut of the Dostoyevsky Reimagined: Behind The Scenes and the feature film, The Missing Screenwriter based on nineteen award-winning episodes/video journals.

We are currently campaigning to invite true fans of our films, Fyodor Dostoyevsky, indie film, inspiring literature and arts. This is part of our preparation for our crowdfunding campaign under the fiscal sponsorship of Carole Dean and From The Heart Productions.

Vitaly Sumin has been invited to give a film presentation at Department of Slavic Languages and Literatures at the University of Southern California, Los Angeles.
This is not the first time one of our films has been presented at a university. 'Shades Of Day' was selected by Gerald Pirog to be presented as part of his course Dostoyevsky and Cinema.
Last month, we announced that our film Shades of Day - Director's Cut - 2013 had been nominated for the 'Blow-Up Fest', the International Arthouse Film Festival in Chicago. Not to be outdone, Notes from the New World has been invited to participate in LANNEFF (Los Angeles Neo Noir Film Fest).
