As 2015 comes to a close, I reflect on the year past and update you on VM Productions activities both present and moving forward into 2016.

Four Feature Length Projects

Editing

We are currently editing: nine interviews with Cast and Crew, including a recently recorded interview with Natasha Blasick, long and short versions of each. Following on we are in the middle of editing the fine cut of the Dostoyevsky Reimagined: Behind The Scenes and the feature film, The Missing Screenwriter based on nineteen award-winning episodes/video journals.

Getting Ready to IndieGoGo

We are currently campaigning to invite true fans of our films, Fyodor Dostoyevsky, indie film, inspiring literature and arts. This is part of our preparation for our crowdfunding campaign under the fiscal sponsorship of Carole Dean and From The Heart Productions.

Blog and Vlog

In April of this year, we launched a blog for Dostoyevsky-BTS. We have published 140 blogs to date. This newsletter features the latest blogs from our talented writers. Christophe, our latest vlogger is featured below. He is investigating our missing screenwriter, Robert Hurley, along with Lauren, our creative director. Director's News: USC Private Screenings

Vitaly Sumin has been invited to give a film presentation at Department of Slavic Languages and Literatures at the University of Southern California, Los Angeles.

This is not the first time one of our films has been presented at a university. 'Shades Of Day' was selected by Gerald Pirog to be presented as part of his course Dostoyevsky and Cinema.
