We at VM Productions take great pride in bringing the art of storytelling back to the cinema. Sometimes this process can be very daunting but with the support of friends like you we can continue on this important mission.

Currently we are in post-production of our documentary Dostoyevsky Reimagined: The Making of Notes from the New World. Notes from the New World is our award-winning indie film produced in 2011. It was only with sheer determination and the support of friends like you that made it possible for us to complete that project.

While making this movie events began to unfold behind the scenes that we knew would have to be seen to believed. It is daunting enough making an independent film in Los Angeles, CA but when you add in a missing screenwriter, rumors of secret societies, and alleged confrontations with Russian mafia, its practically impossible.

The cast and crew came together and against all odds, and most expectations, managed to produce an award-winning film. Now we want to share with you how we did it.
